Art. 1 Ownership:
When not otherwise stated, the entire material supplied remains in the ownership of the stand contractor.
Art. 2 Ordering on account of the exhibitor:
The exhibitor authorises the stand contractor, to place on account of the exhibitor all orders necessary for the assignment, such as for electrical or water connections.
Art. 3 Details on the stand position:
The exhibitor hands over to the stand contractor all technical or organisational information about the stand position provided by the exhibition organizer. The exhibitor is liable to the stand contractor for any additional costs caused by insufficient information.
Art. 4 Technical installations:
Simple electrical connections are only carried out for appliances supplied by the stand contractor. Other electrical installations must be carried out by an authorised installer, this also applies to water and pressurised air connections. Transportation costs of exhibition goods to the fairground are carried by us, all other additional jobs such as handling, full- or empty containers for storage, forklifts, etc. are not included in the budget and will be billed directly to the exhibitor. Cleaning services have to be ordered by the exhibitor. A basic cleaning service is included at point of handing over.
Art. 5 Insurances:
The exhibitor is himself responsible for the insurance of his property. When the stand has been handed over, from the start of the exhibition to the close of the exhibition, the exhibitor is liable for any damage or loss of the stand contractor’s material provided by him for use during the exhibition.
Art. 6 Design:
Stand designs remain the intellectual property of the submitting stand contractor. The right of compensation exists if the stand is rebuilt by a third party.
Art. 7 Conditions of payment:
If no other arrangements have been made, 1/3 of the order amount becomes due on ordering, 1/3 60 days before exhibition opening and 1/3 30 days after receipt of final account. Otherwise the payment conditions are 30 days. Consequences of payment delays that are contrary to our payment conditions, such as costs for reminders, legal collection, party compensation, etc., are subsequently charged.
Art. 8 Uncontrolled Circumstances:
In the event of major circumstances beyond our control, e.g. war, strikes, terrorism, epidemic, natural disaster, seizure, removal, or restraint by a government, custom, an authority or a power etc. the stand contractor assumes no responsibility for the exhibitor’s losses.
Art. 9 Cancellation of work agreement:
Cancellation of a contract of an event or participation at an event due to an act of cancellation charges apply:
- A: Cancellation within two month from the starting date of the event, 100% of the contract value is due
- B: Cancellation longer than two month from the starting date of the event, 50% of the contract value is due.
Art. 10 Legal domicile:
Legal domicile is Olten, Switzerland, at the stand contractor’s legal address.
